Make your home safe, a puppy is naturally inquisitive and will want to investigate any new object by smelling and chewing it.

Take simple precautions, similar to those you would take to ensure that your home is safe for toddlers.

Remove all breakable items and ensure that the puppy does not chew dangerous objects like electric cables.

Keep outside doors locked and windows closed to prevent your Scotty from wandering.
