Basic needs

It is important for you to invest in proper equipment, you should provide your Scotty with a bed and a variety of toys. Feeding bowls should be slide-proof  grooming utensils appropriate for the dogs coat. 

You should also have ready a collar, lead and identity tag.

When your puppy is very young it is a good idea to use a harness instead of the collar and lead.

A chew proof plastic basket is easy to clean and harder for the Scotty to damage than other more softer designs.

Line the bed with a well fitted washable mattress.
