Handle with care

Stroking and grooming are comforting to your Scotty and at the same time it teaches them that you are in control.

You should handle a new pup as often as possible and get him accustomed to being picked up and carried.

Introduce him to any young children in the house and under the supervision of an adult.

The rapid and jerky movements of children might frighten him.

Never let a child pull his ears or tail.

Children can help care for your pet by grooming, feeding or taking him for a walk (always under supervision of an adult)
